Matthews, Feilding, is the guest of Mrs. J. L. Fergusson. Miss Evelyn Fergusson is spending a short holiday as the guest of Mrs. D. C. Managh, “Springlands. Mr. W. Davies has left for the East Coast district to spend his annual leave, accompanied by Mrs. Davies. Mrs. A. H. McNae, "Bushlands,” has returned home from Apitl, where she was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. McNae. Sergeant M. Wlshnowsky and Lieutenant H. Blunden have left to attend a military camp at Marton. Mr. Bert Clapman, of Hamilton, is spending a short holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Claphani. The friends of Mrs. H. P. Petersen will to hear of the recovery of her Meeting The annual general meeting of the Manawatu Methodist Young Men’s Bible Class Union was held in the local Methodist Church on Tuesday evening last. There ws-s a large gathering representing classes as far distant as Dannevirk*, Palmerston North. Woodville, Feilding and Max ton. Rev. R. Coombridge, president of she union, was in the chair and welcomed the delegates to their first meeting m Holcombe. Mr. Len Anderson conducted a period of devotions, including a challenging address.
