Moral Obligations Of Rhodes Scholars
RETURN TO HOME LANDS United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, May 11. Dr. W. E. Henley, of New Zealand, who arrived in Sydney yesterday after 10 years’ post-graduate work in London hospitals, said that he was returning to New Zealand because he felt that Rhodes Scholars were under a moral obligation to return to their own countries.
“There are a number of New Zealand Rhodes Scholars and Rhodes Scholars from other lands who seek and obtain the ‘plums’ in England and who never return,” said Dr. Henley.
