Saturday’s Rugby
BRIGHT PROGRAMME This year in Palmerston North bigger crowds are going to see better Rugby. Another splendid programme is being provided at the oval, Showgrounds, for Rugby patrons next Saturday. Kia Toa, last year’s winners, and still unbeaten, are to play University at 3 p.m. The collegians kept Old Boys to a threepoint margin last week and with a stronger team to take the field they look to be one of the teams likely to check tho double blues. Feilding, who came close to registering a win against Kia Toa last week, are to play Old Boys, another unbeaten team, at 1.30 p.m. Three hours of first-class football seems assured to Rugby fans with this programme. Feilding patrons are well catered for alsb, as the United-Feilding Old Boys match should provide a willing and interesting game at Johnston Park.
