There will be a bring and buy stall, to which members are urged to contribute. The monthly competition, which was for a bottle of tomato sauge, was won by Mrs. T. Clarke, with Mrs. Needham second. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, after which Mrs. T. Clarke introduced Mrs. N. Gilbert, of Woodville, as tho speaker for the day. She took as her subject a New Zealand farmers’ tour, and gave many amusing sidelights on travel on the Continent.
