St. Andrew’s Church
MEETING TO-NIGHT A momentous matter will be discussed by St. Andrews’ Presbyterian Church congregation members to-night in the consideration of the provision of adequate means of coping with the substantial growth in the life and work of the charge. During the past five years the membership has grown by 40 per cent, to over 700, and the time has arrived for additional help to be found if the growing membership is to be consolidated. For this purpose it is hoped to appoint an assistant minister, aud this matter will receive the consideration of the meeting. A large attendance of church members is thus confidently expected. Rev. J. Hubbard, M.A., 8.D., will occupy the chair, the meeting to commence at 7.30 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Hall. There will be a short musical x>rogramme and light refreshments.
