ore), L. H. Best, C. Goodwin, E. N. Macaulay, C. Guerin and H. W. Knowles (Shannon). The hostess, in a grey floral silk frock, received her guests, who very soon were engaged in playing bridge. After the first rubber there was a break for afternoon tea and a chat. Before leaving for home Mrs. J. D. Campbell (the winner) was handed a dainty linen handkerchief by the hostess.
