I*rom Our Own Corre.* rondeni The coming-of-age of Mr Bernard Forlong, of Kopane, was celebrated last week, when the Coronation hall, Rongotea, was the scene of a happy gathering. There was a large number of guests present, both from tne surrounding district, and Palmerston North, Pohangina, Woodville, Gisborne and Hamilton. The tables in the supper-room were decorated in pink and white shades with belladonna lilies, cosmos and michaelmas daisies. Pride of place was given to tho iced birthday cake, the gift of Mr Forlong’s grandmother. The time, which passed all too quickly, was spent in games, competitions, and musical items, entertainment being provided for all.
