Mr. a*id Mrs. G. Gennings have left Tokomaru to reside in New Plymouth. Miss M. Pope, of Tokomaru, has returned from a visit to Dunedin. Miss E. Corlett is a Tokomaru visitor to Carterton. Misses G. and B. Corlett and M. Atkinson motored through to Napier during the week-end. Mrs. N. Lamont (Masterton) and her small daughter spent tho week-end in Palmerston North with her mother, Mrs. E. L. Christian. Mrs. Erank Mason has returned to her home in Sandon Koad, Eeilding, after visiting her son, Mr. Fhilip Mason, of Waipukurau. Miss Phyllis Edwards is a Wellington visitor to Feilding and is the. guest of Mrs. C. M. Sqrgisson, Bank of New South Wales. Mrs. H. G. Bagnall and Miss Peggy Bagnall, To Awe Awe Street, who visited Auckland for the Button-Fan-court wedding, havo returned home. Mrs. E. Beattie and her daughter, Miss Norali Beattie, Mangaono Koad, Feilding, were week-end visitors to Levin and were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. D ’Arcy McGregor. At Monday’s meeting of the Palmerston North Townswomen’s Guild a motion of sympathy was passed with tho relatives of the late Mrs. H. Palmer, who had been a foundation member. Mrs. A. E. Mansford (president) remarked that the work of Mrs. Palmer for the good of the city was well known and she requested the secretary to convey to the Messrs. Palmer tho sincere sympathy of members. Regret was also expressed at the passing of Mrs. Kite, who bad been an enthusiastic member of the singing circle and a member of the guild for over two years.
