British Empire Envied For Size and Wealth
SPEECH BY DR. GOEBBELS United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. BERLIN, March 6. The Minister of Propaganda, Dr. Goebbels, opening the Leipzig Fair, criticised the “almost inconceivable” size and wealth of the British Empire, and said tliat Germany was inadequately treated in the distribution of the world’s goods and was scarcely able to supply the people with tho necessary food and minor luxuries. However, the economic programme was sound common sense. “Germany must and will live,” he declared.
