WOODVILLE REPRESENTED AT QUARTERLY MEETING The quarterly meeting of the Southern Hawke’s Bay provincial executive of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held at Dannevirke on Thursday last. Woodville was represented by Alesdames J. AI. Graham, H. Hume and E. Martin. It was reported that the Woodville branch had a membership of 140, and there was a great keenness among members, a new activity being the sending of clothing to women inmates of the Porirua Alental Hospital, it having been represented that this was appreciated as a welcome change from the hospital unirorm. At a subsequent birthday celebration of the Dannevirke branch, Air. J. C. Bolton, of Woodville, president of the Southern Hawke’s Bay provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union, tendered congratulations and said tho division was doing excellent work. A welcome was extended to Airs. J. C. Wickham, of Wanganui, Dominion president of tho division.
