From Our Own Correspondent. Tennis. During the week-end the local Tennis Club received a visit from the Feilding Club. An interesting day’s sport was had, with vie tori'- going to the Marton team by 20 sets to 19. Marton players are mentioned flrst in the following results:— Men’s singles: N. Ingle lost to J. Two rinks from the Wellington Bowling Club, who were on their way to Wanga nui to play for the Duthie Cup, paid a visit to the Marton green on Wednesday afternoon to indulge in a friendly game with Marton.
