ANOTHER ARTILLERY TRUCK Per Press Association. TAin APE, Feb. 10. The second accident in three month* in which an artillery truck was involved occurred six miles from Taihape lasi evening. ■ xhe truck was returning to Waiotiro camp when a leak developed in a real tyre. The driver decided to turn back I tor repairs, when the truck left the road, crashing 30 feet down a bank, o The driver. Sergeant H. Gillespie, of 23 Duncan street, Wanganui East, received concussion and was admitted to the Taihape Hospital, and his companion, JJ Private W. T. Collerton, of Taihape, received slight injuries to the back and | was able to return home, s Fortunately there were no other 5 passengers or the consequences perhaps I', might have been more serious. The '. truck was badly damaged. Inquiries I, this morning disclosed that Sergear.l s Gillespie’s condition was satisfactory.
