Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Public Works, arrived at Whangarei yesterday afternoon on the first stage of an extensive tour of the Northland. He inspected the Oncrahi Aerodrome, which he described as the makings of the finest in New Zealand, it being the only one in which the runways ran in three directions towards the sea.
