PERSONAL
Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railwayg and Minister of Industries and Commerce, was a visitor to Woodville last evening when he delivered a political address in the Institute Hall. Mrs. G. L. B. Whillans is spending a few days in Wellington.
Miss L. Smith, of Oamaru, is a visitor to Woodville. She is staying with Miss F, Willoughby, Fox Street Mr. S. Beattie, of Otaki, was a visitor to Woodville on Tuesday. Miss M. Harris is spending a holiday with relatives in Wanganui. Mr. lan Mackay, of Ivumeroa, has recovered sufficiently from his recent illness to have been discharged from hospital and he is now spending a recuperative holiday at Waitarere. Mr. G. Birchall, the borough foreman, is indisposed and has been granted leave from his duties by the council.
