U.S. Discovery to Increase Oil Resources
PROCESS OF “JUGGLING" MOLECULES United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 9.30 p.im MILWAUKEE, ttept. 7. A new process for juggling carbon und hydrogen molecules in natural oil gaaes which will increase the known resources of crude oil in tho United States by 150 per cent, to 45,000,000,000 barrels and reduce the consumption by 625,000,000 barrels annually has been reported to the American Chemical Society. Five hundred billion cubie feet of hydrogen will be provided as s by-product. Doctor Gustav Egloff, announcing this discovery, commented that it gave the United States an added advantage in the event of war and also provided better quality petrol, increasing engine efficiency.
