HOTEL WORKERS’ PROCEEDINGS For Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Last Night. An agreement on a number of machinery clauses was reached at the first day’s hearing of the application by the New Zealand Federated Hotel, Restaurant and Related Trades Workers’ Union for a new award in Conciliation Council at Wellington to-day. Proceedings were taken in committee, it being agreed to issue a statement to the Press at the conclusion of the sittings.
