Junior Chamber of Commerce

FORMATION IN WELLINGTON Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce has for some months considered the formation of a junior divison, and to-night at a special general meeting members unanimously agreed to the articles being altered to allow of tho formation of a Wellington Junior Chamber of Commerce.

In moving to authorise the constitution of a junior chamber, tho president, Mr. P. E. Pattriek, said the chamber was following the lead of many who had already proved the wisdom of such < a step. So as to be assured that such an opportunity would be suitably responded to by the younger business men of Wellington various preliminary meetings of prospective members had been held and approved applications had been received from more than 100 such men. That meant that the Wellington Junior Chamber would start with tho largest membership of all junior chambers throughout the Dominion.
