Japanese Influence In Near East
DIPLOMATS CONFER LONDON, July 31. The Istanbul correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that considerable interest is being attached to a weekond conference of Japanese diplomatic representatives in Russia, the Balkans, Egypt, Irak, Iran, Afghanistan, and the Arab States. It is reported that Japan intends to intensify her anti-Communist activities in the Near East, where she is trying to strengthen her political and economic influence.
