July Weather in Feilding
RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE Feilding's raipfall for the month of July was not far short of being an inch below the average for the seventh month of the year. Rain fell on 14 days for a total measurement of 2.45 inches, against the average for July of 3.14 inches. For the month of July, '1937, the rainfall measurement was only 1.61 inches. The rainfall for the seven months past totalled 37.71 inches, compared with 26.84 inches for the same period last year, and the average fall for the first seven months of the year of 19.79 inches. Features of the mouth’s weather were several severe frosts, and a snowfall on the night of July 29. There were seven frosts, including one on July 9, when seven degrees was registered. There was a remarkable absence of wind.
