AUSTRALIA IN ENGLAND RESULTS AND REMAINING MATCHES STATISTICS UP TC FOURTH TEST Three Tests have been played between Don Bradman’s 1938 cricket team and England, and one has been abandoned. One more Test remains to be played, and It will be played, to a finish. Australia has won one Test and the other two were drawn. As holder of “The Ashes” Australia thus retains them for a further term, as the best England can do in the fifth Test is draw so far as the rubber is concerned. MATCHES PLAYED. Australia 590 for five wickets declared; Leicestershire 212 and 215. v. Cambridge University Won by an innings and 425 runs. Australia 708 for five wickets declared; Cambridge 120 and 163. v. M.C.C.—Drawn owing to rain. Australia 502; M.C.C. 214 and 87 for one wicket.

Yorkshire.—Drawn. Australia 222 and 132. Yorkshire 205 and 83 for three wickets when rain stopped play and almost certainly averted defeat for Australia. THIRD TEST.—Abandoned on account of rain. v.
