Central School Annual Ball
To-morrow evening the annual fancy dress ball of Central School will be held in the A. and P. hall. This function is sure to prove a great success. From 6.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. the programme will be devoted to the children in fancy dress, and after 9.30 the adults will take the floor. At about 9.15 p.m. there will be given a demonstration of moving pictures through a cinema apparatus recently purchased by the Central School for the purpose of educating by means of movie films. This step, which is the first such project attempted by a Palmerston North school, js certain to prove popular. Any profits from the ball to-morrow night will bo used to further the use of cinema education in the Central School. Loveday ’s orchestra will supply the music for the dancing.
