Mrs. John Farrell arrived from Auckland on Saturday to spend the week-end in Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. Selby-D ’Ath, Kimbolton, leave to-day by the Maunganui on a trip to the South Sea Islands. The friends of Miss Roy Taylor will be pleased to learn that she has now left the hospital and is staying with Mrs. C. It. Kenning, of Dahlia street. Mrs. Bobs Cowper has returned to Dannevirke after attending the annual general meeting of Women’s Institutes at Wellington. Miss Elaine Bailey, * ‘ Kaingara, ’ ’■ Feilding, was a week-end visitor to Hawke’s Bay and was the guest of Mrs. Bruce Ballantyne. Mrs. N. H. Sinclair, of Palmerston North, and her son, Mr. Peter Sinclair, left on Saturday to spend a fortnight in the South Island, visiting Nelson, Christchurch and -Dunedin. Miss Jerome Spencer, Q.8.E., was a visitor to Palmerston North last week on her return from the annual general meeting of New Zealand Women’s Institutes at Wellington, and left for Napier on Saturday.
