A meeting of National Party supporters last night selected Mr. F. J Couu as the National candidate 'or tb« Duncdiu South seat at present held by Hon. F. Jones. Mr. Conn has lived all his life iu the district and is tU immediate past presioent of the Otagc Agricultural and Pastoral Society of which he has been a member by 57 yearfe. He is keenly interested in sport and has owned several race horses.
