Tangimoana

From Our Own Correspondent. A euchre party was held by members of the Dadies' Progressive Club on Saturday evening, the prize-winners being Mrs Nelson Scott and Air R. Young. Advantage has been taken of the fine weather during the past week by the school children to keep up their tennis practice. There are not sufficient senior pupils attending the school to form either a basketball or a football team, although there are some outstanding players in both these games. However, their teacher, Aliss Al. W. Quirke, sees that they have plenty of exercise and recreation on the tennis courts. Local contributors to the ‘‘Times’’ are pleased with the new arrangements made for the delivery of the paper, whereby they' have it delivered to their gates early each rdorning. Personal. Air and Airs H. R. Davison, of Kairanga, are spending several weeks at their beach cottage. Mrs Klink, of Pohangina. and her two small children, have been staying with Mr and Airs J. Stuart. Air and Airs C. H. Aleads and family, of Kiwitea, were also week-end visitors to Air and Airs Stuart. Air C. Alartin, who has been away from Tangimoana for some considerable time, is visiting his parents, Mr and Airs V. A. Alartin, of Kuru street. Airs P. L. Keat and her sister. Aliss AI. Muston, are at present holidaying in the South Island.
