EXPLANATION BY BANKS Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 14. Regarding the London cable reporting fears of an embargo on exchange remittances from New Zealand, inquiries in responsible quarters show that the positions appears to be that ordinary business transactions for business purposes are being fully met, but, as to capital transactions, although there i£ no actual embargo, it is neces sary to conserve the London funds for trade requirements. Applications are Considered on their particular merits, each bank taking such action as it thinks suitable
