Aggressive Women Unpopular in Professions
TAILINGS POINTED OUT LONDON, June 17. The first woman member of the General Bar Council, Miss H. M. Cross, said at tho British Commonwealth League Conference: “Women are not popular in tho professions because they arc over-aggressiva in the uso of the weapons of tlieir sex. Women find slights where none are intended. They also insist that there should be a on every sub-committee. Their aggressiveness is shown in the over-manly woman, and also in those who depend purely on sex appeal. Women’s talons have to learn delicacy of touch. 4 * Let us follow tho exaniple of French women,” Miss Cross added. “They have little power on paper, but they are important in affairs.”
