WELLINGTON, Last Night. In the House to-day, Mr. H. 8. E. Kyle gave notice to ask the i’rime Minister whether his attention had been drawn to an article appearing in a local paper with reference to the crew of the coastal steamer Canopus refusing to take the vessel to sea on account of the alleged presence of a rat in the forecastle, and asked if this action of the seamen met with tho ap- j proval of the Government.
