Point-to-Point
BIG FIXTURE TO-MORROW For the first time for many years a point-to-point meeting will be held in Pahiatua, the local members of the Dannevirke Hunt having arranged a fixture of this kind for to-morrow, on the Pahiatua racecourse. The response from sportsmen in Da.nnevirkc, Pahiatua and Masterton has been very gratifying and the public will get full value for their money in the comprehensive programme drawn up. Racing is scheduled to start at 12.15 p.m. and the public are advised to be on hand well up to time as there is a heavy programme to be got through and no delays will be permitted. Some very fine trophies have been donated by various sportsmen Iceally and others outside the •iistrict, and, needless to say, competition for these will be very keen.
