To-day’s Rugby

FEILDING PLAY ST. PATRICK’S AT SHOWGROUNDS Rugby enthusiasts should find today’s programme an attractive one, particularly at the Showgrounds, where Kia Toa (holders) and Massey College meet at 1.30 in a Jubilee Cup match, and Feilding, who scored by a decisive margin from Feilding Old Boys last Saturday, will meet St. Patrick’s in a game which is timed to start at three o ’clock. Massey College are reported to have a very strong team this year and, as an indication of that strength, they beat Kia Toa in a practice match some weeks ago. Kia Toa beat Old Boys last Saturday and the double blues are certain to make an even better showing to-day. St. Patrick’s will be stronger than for their opening game and, if reports are correct, they will need to bo to hold the team from the Feilding club. At Johnston Park the star game will be provided by the teams from Feilding Old Boys and United, who beat St. Patrick’s last Saturday.
