Feilding School Committees
The biennial election of school committees for the Lytton Street and Manchester Street Schools took place last night. In both cases old members who stood again were all returned. Lytton Street. The new committee comprises: Messrs. J. C. Christian, F. P. Fawcett, C. V. Guy, C. V. Jewell, L. Jeskins, A. H. Laing, G. Wilkinson and Mesdames M. Donaldson and E. Scott. New members are Messrs. Christian and Laing, who‘replace Messrs. Tingey and Simmonds, who did not seek re-election. At a subsequent meeting Mr. C. V. Jewell was re-elected chairman and Mrs. E. Scott secretary. Manchester Street. For the Manchester Street School the following will comprise the new committee: Messrs. R. Burne, L. J. Carmine, J. Campbell, G. J. Fitzpatrick, P. Maegaard, Z. McLeod, E. R. Matthews and Mesdames P. G. Guy and S. McDowell. Mr, Fitzpatrick was re-elected chairman at a subsequent meeting, and Mr. Campbell was re-appointed secretary.
