Cyclist Dies From Injuries
MYSTERIOUS FALL OVER 10FT. BANK Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Last Night. Injuries which subsequently proved fatal were received by a married man named John Young, 24 years of age, living at Ocean View, near Brighton, when a bicycle he was riding apparently left the main Brighton road near the Big Rock corner to-night and caused him to fall down a bank about 10 feet in height.
The accident was not seen by anyone and the first intimation of the tragedy came when three women who were walking along the pathway towards the Big Rock at about 6.45 p.m. found the injured man lying beside his bicycle on n grassy patli which was about 10 feet below the main road. He was alive when first*discovered but died shortly afterwards. No indication of the injuries to which deceased succumbed could be obtained by ordinary examina lion and an inquest will be held.
