Feilding Athletic Club
At a meeting of the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on Monday evening it was decided to commence the road cycling season next mouth, the first race to be to Bunnythorpe and return. Points won during the track season, now concluded, were announced as follows:
Cycling: A. Allen, 32; 11. Stewart, 24; J. Allen, 15; H. Cocker, 12; N. Lawson, 9; C. Fisher, 7; I. Little (Palmerston North), 4.
Running: C. Fisher, 22; J. Keneveu, 18; R. Lambertou, 14; P. Packer, 13; D. McCardle, 9; Fade and Rasmussen,
In the women’s events Miss J. Grindrod, 11 points, secured first place for the season.
