WESTMORELAND, left London for New Zealand. A story that will have a peculiar appeal to the farming community was told by Mr W. A. Peterson, a member of the Franklin County Council, who recently returned from a holiday trip to Australia. Mr Peterson was relating some of his experiences to his fellow members and this particular one referred to a former Lord Mayor of Bydney, Bir Archibald liowie. That gallant knight is the proud owner of u model farm. As testimony to the type of animal produced, Bir Archibald was successful in gaining 24 placings with his 28 entries at the Sydney Bhow. On one occasion, after having shown visitors over his farm, Bir Archibald is credited with having asked his guests w r hether they would prefer champagne or milk. Mr Peterson did not tell his fellow members which he chose.
