Railway Deviation Work Held Up
BY LEGAL E6RMALITIES “The Times” learned yesterday that wofk on the Palmerston North railway deviation is not likely to be restarted for some considerable time, the stumbling block beng legal formalities in connection with the taking of the land. While everything was in order when the work was first commenced a number of years ago, lapse of time has thrown the land back on the original owners and now all the legal procedure has to be gone over again.
