Feilding Croquet And Bowling Club

GALA DAY HELD Alembers of the Feilding Women's Bowling and Croquet Clubs held a gala day at the greens in Warwick street, when a large number of players assembled and an interesting afternoon was spent in croquet and bowling competitions. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, the tables being prettily decorated with vases of autumn flowers. The winners of the croquet games were as follow: Airs. G. Quaile (ladder), Airs. Wilton (French), Airs. J. Bailey (take-off), and Airs. L. Ewen (angles). The I‘ollowiug were the successful players in the bowling competitions: Airs. E. Scott (circles), Airs. G. Wilkinson (runner-up), Airs. G. Dewe (corners), and Mrs. P. White (runner-up). A special competition was won by Mrs. K. Dewe.

The trophies were presented by Alesdames F. Aloore and A. Williamson, presidents of the Croquet and Bowling Clubs, respectively.
