Largest Liner to Enter Sydney Harbour
EMPRESS OF - BRITAIN ARRIVES United Press Association—Hv Electric Telesrapn.—Copyrlrnt. Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m. SYDNEY, April 3. The majestic liner Express of Britain, the largest Sydney has ever seen, arrived to-day in glorious sunshine and was given an ovation from all vantage points of the harbour by hundreds of people. The delicate task of berthing the giant ship at Wooloomoolo was accomplished without & hitch with the aid of six tugs. The passengers include men of great wealth, commercial and scientific standing from England, the United States, Canada and the Continent.
