MARTON SALE. The N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of 1600 sheep and 50 pigs at their usual weekly sale held on Tuesday. There was an excellent attendance but the continued dry weather affected the market to a considerable extent and prices all round were somewhat lower than our sale of the previous week. However, vendors were out to meet the market and we disposed of every pen as follows: Good 2-th ewes to 32s 3d; sound mouth ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 18s; tail lots Ss 6d to 10s 7d; medium ewe lambs, I6s 4d; good woolly w.f. lambs, 10s 9d to 11s; medium do., to 8s; shorn do., 9s sd; medium b.f. shorn lambs, 10s; small ewe lambs to 14s 9d; fat b.f. 2-ths, 20s 3d; fat wethers, 20s; fat and forward ewes, 14s 3d; J-shear B.D. rams, 2gns. to 2}gns.; aged do., fgns.; weaner pigs were practically unsaleable and one or two lots realised 10s.
