CENTENNIAL SUGGESTION FROM AUCKLAND Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A move for the International Labour Industrial Conference to be held at Auckland during the 1940 centenary year is being launched by Labour supporters. A proposal will be submitted to the Auckland District Council of the Federation of Labour this week, and if approved will be referred to the New Zealand Federation. It is proposed that representatives of all countries be invited and also that the Dominion Labour representative be asked to bring the j matter before the Geneva Conference in June.
