From Our Own f'orresoondent. School Picnic. • The local school picnic was held on Mrs Hobbs' property and was ideal for the occasion. Swimming was the chief attraction of the day, and a veryhappy time was spent by all present. In the evening a dance was held in the local hall, Mr A. F. Lawrence supplying the music. Mr G. Ury acted as M.C.. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss A. Golder and Mr O. Davies.
