“California Straight Ahead ”
•Screening at the Cosy Theatre, Woodville, to-night and to-morrow, this picture is a drama of the transportation world dealing with the rivalry between two men, both in business and in love. John Wayne and Theodore von Eltz, the rivals, make a thrilling transcontinental dash by car, train and aeroplane. Louise Latimer is a charming heroine and two grand old men, Robert McWade and Tully Marshall, give a performance that leaves nothing to be desired. “She’s Dangerous,” with Tala Birell and Cesar Romero, is an excellent supporting feature.
