Cheltenham Co-op. Dairy Co.

On Tuesday last the Cheltenham Coop; Dairy Co., Ltd., inaugurated their first annual pedigreo pig sale at their up-to-date piggeries at Makino, Feilding, and the auctioneers, the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report a very successful clearance.

A large offering of 117 pedigree pigs and 20 commercial sows came forward in excellent condition, reflecting great credit on the farm manager, Mr. H. E. Thurston. A full bench of buyers included representatives from all parts of tho North and South Islands and sales were made to visitors from as far north

as Auckland and as far south as Ivaiapoi. It was noticed that several purchases were made by pig chibs from widespread districts.
