Pahiatua Court
MONTHLY SITTING Yesterday morning the monthly sitting of the Pahiatua Magistrate’s Court was held, Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., being on the bench. As the result of two cars colliding on the coast road near Pongaroa, A. Malcolm, for not having a warrant of fitness, was fined 10s and 25s 9d costs, while Leslie Bell Anderson, of Dannevirke, for not renewing his warrant of fitness, was fined 10s and 23s 9d costs. Inspector W. G. Milne charged J. W. Souter, Pongaroa, with operating a vehicle without a heavy traffic license. Defendant was fined 20s and 10s costs. Teao Tataurangi, for driving a truck without a warrant of fitness, was fined 20s and 10s costs. E. F. Skilton, who parked his motorcar with the handbrake defective, was fined 15s and 10s costs.
