English Hockey Women For New Zealand
ITINERARY ANNOUNCED Per Press Association. AY ELLINGTON, Last Night. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association from the Ail England Women’s Hockey Association that the following team has been selected to tour New Zealand commencing in June:—Goal, G. Huggins (De\on); backs, M. E. Coliius (busses), M. Knott (Kent), 1. Naylor (Warwick); halves, B. Fairgrieve (Durham), M. I. Lodge (Gloucester), K. Thompson (Northumberland), U. Barnes (Lancashire); forwards, J. Dowling (Bucks), J. O’Donoghue (Devon), L bhelmerdine (Gloucestershire), B. W. West (bussex;, J. Wright (Northants), N. E. Judd (Kent). Miss E. J. Warwick will be mauager of the team and cne additional player has still to be selected.
The itinerary arranged by New Zealand is as follows:—June 8, Hamilton (or near association); June 11, Auckland; June 15, Nelson; June 18, Christchurch; June 22, Ashburton; June 25, Dunedin June 2U, Alexandra; July 2, Gore; July 6, Christchurch; first Test, July 9, July 12, Pongaroa; July 14, Feild'ug; July 16, Wu ngunui; second Test, July 18, Kketahuna; July sl, Wellington, third Test.
