MBS W. S. LE QUESNE. The Apiti friends of Mrs W. S. Le Quesne, of Ridge road, were deeply shocked to learn that she had passed away at the Palmerston North Hospital, on February 21st. As Miss Nellie Gerke. the late Mrs Le Quesne was well known in the Kimbolton district and her mother, Mrs Sarah Smith, and brother, Mr James Gerke, reside there. Mr and Mrs Le Quesne came from Ot&huhu four years ago and settled at Ridge road. A member of the Apiti Women’s Institute and an enthusiastic" worker for the Apiti school of which her husband is a committee member, Mra Le Quesne will be sadly missed. Heartfelt sympathy will be extended to Mr Le Quesne and his seven children the eldest of whom is just 13 and the youngest 15 months old. The members of the Apiti School Committee, and the headteacher and many Apiti and Ridge road friends attended the funeral at the Kelvin Grove cemetery on Wednesday afternoon.
