Bondi Surf Carnival
39 TEAMS MARCH PAST United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 20. The surf carnival was held at Bondi yesterday in splendid weather. Representatives of 60 clubs in the Commonwealth and New Zealand took part. The march past of 39 teams with G6O men stirred the great crowd. This event was again won by North Bond!, with Queenscliff and Maroubra second and third. Viscount Nuffield presented a blue ribbon to the winners. The Bondi team won the rescue au-J resuscitation event frohi North Steyne. The senior surf boat race was won by Freshwater, and the invitation rescue and resuscitation competition resulted: New South Wales 1, New Zealand 2, Queensland 3, Western Australia 4.
