Notes of the Day
Mr. Malcolm Buist, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Buist, of Feilding, has received notice that he has been transferred on promotion from the Palmerston North branch of the Public Trust Office to Hamilton. He will leave this week to take up his new duties. Mr. Buist has been a prominent active member of the Feilding Cricket Club and of the Feilding Boy Scouts’ Association, as well as serving on the management board of the Feilding Presbyterian Church. His departure to a new sphere of activities will be regretted by his many friends who will nevertheless ex; tend congratulations at well earned promotion.
