Miners’ Bravery Rewarded
STAFFORDSHIRE ACCIDENT Received Friday, 6.30 p.m. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 17. Among recipients of decorations from the King at the second investiture in connection with the New Year’s honours were two miners, who are brothers, from Staffordshire, who have been awarded medals for bravery in the colliery accident in 1937.
