Heavy Rain in Auckland Province
r—, ■* .* ——- MOST OF INTERRUPTED SERVICES RESTORED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Road and rail services in the province interrupted by the heavy rain on. Thursday were for the most part restored to-day, but further heavy rain over a wide area lato in the afternoon caused complications and further blockages on a number of main routes. Though a number of roads on the east coast in the north we:re still blocked, those on the west coast were open and all rail services had been resumed. Extremely heavy Tain fell for about two hours this afternoon.
