BULLS SALE. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held a most successful salo at Bulls on Monday, 14th inst., when tliero was an entry of over 3000 sheep which included two pens of outstanding 2-tooth ewes. There was a large attendance of the public, and wo report practically a total clearance at prices satisfactory to vendors. The top price for 2-tooth was 35/3 for a line on account Mr G. W. McKenzie; and another line of good 2-tooth ewes account Mrs F. de Burgh realised 35/-. There was a largo entry of pigs and a satisfactory sale resulted. Only eight head of fat cows were yarded, and these sold under keen competition, prices being 10/- in advance of previous sale. We quote:—

Farmers 7 Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a medium yarding of sheep to a good attendance of buyers. The market for ewes was hardly as firm as at our previous sale. Mi Lethbridge's 2-th wethers realised from 22/S to 23/-. We quote prices as follows: Forward b.f. lambs, 15/1; smaller do. 12/6; medium 2-th ewes, 27/-; 6-th to 4-year ewes, 27/6; 2s and 4-th ewes, 30/-; 2-th wethers, good, 22/8 to 23/-; aged S.D. rams, good, Kgns. to 1-jgns.; weaner pigs, 10/- to 12/6; fat cows ex dairy, £4. WOODVILLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., repprt on their Woodville sale held yesterday as under: — We submitted a yarding of some 6700 head of sheep comprised principally of 4 and 5-year ewes with several pens of outstanding 2-th. Ewes on account local breeders, and have to report a satisfactory salo throughout with an excellent clearance under the hammer.

Several pens of lambs suitable for crop also sol d rapidly at fully up to late rates.
