HUIVIPHREY —TONKS At. St. John’s Church, Wellington, ! the wedding; was solemnised of Dora, only daughter of Mrs. C. Tonks, Wellington, and. Raymond, eldest son of 1 Mr. and Mrs. A. Humphrey, Makino. Rev. Brian Kilroy performed the cere- 1 mony. The bride, who entered the 1 church escorted by Mr. E. A. Rowe - (cousin), made a pretty picture in her 1 beautiful gown of brocaded taffeta, ; fashioned on slim-fitting lines. A long • flowing veil was worn. Her bouquet '> consisted of trailing lilies, roses and < fern, tied with ribbon, completing a - charming toilette. She was attended 1 by Miss Kathleen Cray (Napier), chief ; bridesmaid, and Miss Rowe, who both < wore charming frocks of primrose ] shirred chiffon over taffeta, fashioned : on the same lines as the bride’s. Mr. < A. Campbell (Feilding) was besst man < and Mr. D. Humphrey (brother) was : groomsman. When the young couple 1 left on their honeymoon trip the bride’s travelling oi.tfit consisted of a navy 1 blue wool lace coat over delphinium i frock, and she wore matching aeces- < sories.
